Who we are…
We are the Groveland Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. We are proud of our long and rich heritage as a church, a legacy which began on June 17, 1726.
Our steeple houses the eleventh cast by patriot Paul Revere in 1795 and it is the oldest Revere bell in continuous service.
The governance of the church is vested in its members, in the tradition of New England Congregationalism, and operate in accordance with established principles and in covenant with the United Church of Christ. The polity is determined by the action of the members at Annual Meeting.
While proud of our past, we embrace the opportunities of the present and hold great hope for our future.
We are an Open and Affirming congregation who believe that all people are beloved children of God. We welcome everyone with open arms – no matter who you are where you are on life’s journey.
We welcome you to check us out on Facebook or join us on Sunday morning (currently we are worshiping virtually but you can see our services here!) to see what we’re all about.
